課程介紹

這是一堂內容完整的美式發音課，課程中老師示範了大量的單字以及例句的唸法。強烈建議同學在學習時跟著老師複誦，大量練習，同時最好能錄下自己的發音，再和老師的發音比較，聽出差異在哪裡，再調整自己的發音。反覆做這樣的步驟，就會看到自己的進步。

仔細聆聽、建立對發音的察覺

學好發音，第一步要先能仔細聆聽、建立察覺發音差異的能力。大多數的英語學習者並沒有認真的建立這樣的能力，如果無法聽出發音的差異，自然也不可能說出正確的發音，譬如 apple 永遠都說的像是 April，Keith 永遠都說的像是 kiss， of 永遠都說的像是 off， 如果跟老外說話時有這樣的錯誤，產生誤解是應該的，所以自己能夠分辨出這些發音的差異是第一步，也是老師在課程中一再強調了。

老師在課程中對單字、句子唸完後，都會留一小段時間讓同學可以跟著複誦，老師並會重複多次發音示範，讓同學可以仔細聆聽，建立對這些單字或句子聲音的知覺，並搭配不斷地複誦，這是學好發音的先決條件。

大量練習 建立你的 muscle memory

在你大量練習發音之後，才能建立 muscle memory，這時候就可以不經過思考，自然而然地說出正確的發音，因此在課程中，除了仔細聆聽之外，跟著老師的示範，重複複誦，大量練習直到你可以不經過思考就能說出正確的發音，這樣的學習就會看到進步。

正確學習發音的方法是經由耳朵以及嘴巴，這是老師會在課程中重複強調的事情。

大量的單字發音

老師在課程中會示範多個特別的發音，包含特別的 s 音的 Usually, Anesthesia, Asia, Pleasure, Leisure, Vision, Occasion, Genre, Massage, Regime, Garage, Collage, Luxury。

特別的 x 音，包含 Extremely, Extended, Complex, Mixer, Exoplanet, Exams, Exactly, Exit, Xylophone, Luxury。

特別的 z 音，包含 Zone, Zoo, Zebra, Frozen, Fuzzy, Susan, Scissors, Clues, Reasons。

特別的 ou 音，包含 Mound, Bow, Frown, Downtown, Mouse, Shower, Shouting

hard c 和 soft c 部分包含 Center, Cell, Citation, Cyst, Cycle, Candy, Call, Core, Clean, Cool, Cups

發音是有規則的，但規則都有例外，因此 guideline 是較適合的用字。在課程中老師會在教授 oa、母音、無聲 e、子音 c、子音 g、有聲無聲子音 s、重音、Schwa 音等的發音 guideline，以及例外的狀況。
